more on cream soda

cream soda is a glorious and beautiful thing. a thing of natural beauty. every one of it's elements is in perfect harmony with the others. it is the paramount soda. it is soft and sugary, but that is gently cut by it's coolness and carbonation. and best of all: the color matches the flavor. yes, it looks a lot like gingerale. but don't you find gingerale's mild look contradictory to it's strong taste? right. cream soda is cream colored. it is meant to be cream colored. nobody in their right mind would wish it any other way. yet in canada all cream soda is pink! pink! it's not strawberry pop, or cherry pop, or pop specifically designed for little girls. this is cream soda. soda mousse, if you will. i find this all very misleading. it's some sort of slow, creeping canadian propaganda campaign, part of their swelling conspiracy to take over the world by convincing everybody they're completely harmless. before you know it all sodapop will be pink. what two things can you think of that are more innocent and unasuming in this world than canada and the color pink? next on canada's agenda: new speak.
