god save the queen

the queen's in victoria. for her golden jubilee, i beleive. i think that i should try to catch a glimpse of her. she's never going to come to the states. it's almost an exciting prospect. pehaps i'll get baked first. i passed some news show in the lounge and they were talking about how the empress hotel was getting ready for the queen's arrival. i assumed they meant security shit, like if the president was visiting. and thought to myself. no way in hell am i leaving campus tomorrow. but then i saw that they meant getting her favorite flowers and other such nonsense that just makes canada even more adorable.
